You two.
You're turning into a pair of old ladies bragging about their grandsons, whilst hanging out their washing.
This humerous banter might be entertaining if you weren't arguing about two people with very little chance of winning the event. Do you both not realise that Hendry vs Trump next week is the "battle of the men who might make the quarter-finals"?

theres people arguing about Southport v Port Vale in the FA Cup that what Sports about doesn't matter how far they go its one man v one man in one match.

Stephen Hendry 2-3 Matthew Stevens
76-0 (Hendry 76), 28-53 (Stevens 37), 66-67 (Hendry 66, Stevens 35), 74-30 (Hendry 74, Stevens 30), 21-82 (Stevens 76)
that was the most consistent break-building from Stephen as ive seen this season
My meaning there was actually a criticism of Matthew. Stephen gave easy in the balls chances. Matthew didn't win a single frame just by his own efforts.

Carter 3-2 but im happier with Hendrys breakbuilding in the last 2 matches despite him losing he looked capable to clear up but his long game wont give him enough chances against real players but Trump is in the Bag
Mark Allen 2-3 Mark King
49-72 (King 56),72-27 (Allen 51),54-70 (King 57), 67-28, 0-105 (105)
Ali Carter 3-2 Stephen Hendry
36-77 (Hendry 43), 59-28 (Carter 31), 68-8 (Carter 34), 1-129 (Hendry 129), 60-1 (Carter 59)

and that is why I wouldn't take the results this week too seriously
we've already seen players perform well in the CL and then struggling in early rounds of main tournaments and vice versa

We've had plenty of Marks, now Matthew might be going through. If John Higgins goes through, we'll be cursing our luck nobody called Luke plays.

theres 3 matches left of the group but the 4 players for the play off has been decided Matthew Stevens,Marco Fu,Mark Allen and Ali Carter who plays who in the semis not decided though.
the remaining interest in this group is who gets 5th spot
if King Beats Fu then he gets fifth but if Fu beats King then the winner of the Hendry v Ebdon match gets 5th and through to Group 5 in February,
