What the buck? Now Higgins is in danger of being relegated.

Yes and the most surprising aspect is that he's lost a few because flaws in his tactical game.

well he lost the king match due to a flaw in his potting game.
he looked well set for a 3-1 win over king.....
since he lost to Dott at the masters hes gone down hill fast lol

Maybe this time it really does have something to do with his old mans health.

Possible of course, but then he might have asked to be transfered to a later group. It has happened several times already and for less serious reasons than this one.
But then I may also be that after all the tension of the NOTW affair, the judgement, the big effort to prove himself back in the game, he's now running flat. Not uncommon.

Despite a 3-0 win over Ebdon John Higgins finishes last in the League and is Relegated.
Bingham needs to beat Carter to avoid Relegation so the second Relegation spot is between Bingham and Marco Fu the defending champion.

Ali wins 3-2 on respotted black having trailed 0-2 and not potted a ball. Stuart had plenty of chances but it seems pressure got at him. Strange in a way considering that he beat Ronnie in the UK and Hendo in the WC first round in 2000 ... but then on both occasions he was the "underdog" while now he might have felt this was a unique opportunity to maybe play in the PL and that it was there for the grab. And make no mistake they all want to be there.

Shaun played excellent stuff but Mark was unlucky to pocket that red while splitting the pack when he was on 7 reds+7 blacks

Considering some of the bell-ends they give Knighthoods, I don't see why not.
