Honestly don't think that's a bad price if Ding loses but there are so many permutations here it's hard to say but those short odds backers have to remember Selby's record at the business end of tournaments and it's not much to shout about.

Stupid schedule today. Both good matches on at the same time. Shown some flexibility organisers.

I had a fried breakfast in the weirdest place this morning. It had bigger the lifesize models of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, and had a 50s-style juke box in there.

a shame it wasnt one of these + 1 of the 2 evening matches now
bring on the quarters
I still think it's been a very good tournament. This session will be interesting to see just how uncomfortable McLeod can make Higgins, Higgins looked a little rattle as it was all so negative yesterday.

thought Hendry might have been the last player out to the arena so the other players could have gave him a standing ovation similar to what happened with Davis every time last year.
Oh and i see Snookerfans fancy woman with the red hair is back in the crowd.

Dominance for me is being the ultimate no. 1 over a couple of seasons in a row, just like Hendry and Davis were. Last year Robbo was the best player of the season. No way we are talking about the same dominance nowadays that took place in the 90s and 80s.
Just look at this season: Robbo won the WO, everybody thought wow, the best player in the world by some distance. Than Higgins returned and made that great comeback, but without a bit of luck Williams would have been considered as the best player in the world. Than Ding won the Masters, everybody talked about his great prospects and his road to an all time great. Now Trump is in the spotlight and many people think he will be the best player in the next couple of seasons.
Then things change that quickly you can't possibly talk about someone dominating the game.
But Wild your main argument was Selby dominating. But you seem to put that statement into perspective already.

fully agree
and the funny thing is when a player wins an event he is called a top player , the minute he loses 1 match he is written off by many

how many in-offs has Rory had in this match?
Higgins looks well off form and anyone half decent would have had him in trouble here.
Oh and FRB looks a tad hungover
