Looks set for 9-7 to Ali Carter but this match has a lot of miles left in it as they say. Should be a cracking final session tomorrow.

8-8 i reckon. Perfectly poised going into the last session
Played Dotty
A tough man to shake off.

Tremendous effort from Dotty. Tremendous. Showing champion's bottle there. Now that is why Dott is the better player as in he can hang in there in matches and scrap it out. Can Ali - I am not so sure - 8-8 and what a session we have in store tomorrow.

Wow what a session - we had the surreal in the morning - now the quality is showing from Ali and Graeme. 8-8 is on balance about the right score. Ali though will be kicking himself over that tactical blunder in the final frame. Resumes tomorrow at 8-8 at 2.30pm to a finish - Don't miss this - it could go to the wire

Dott to win methinks, that said, Ali would have taken 8-8 at 7pm tonight, but having had a chance to be 9-7, he will
16 entertaining frames today, hopefully nine more of the same tomorrow

Now I don't mean at all to denegrate Ali but with Dott he has the quality of tremendous bottle. Ali is a solid all-round player but doesn't really excel in any department for me.

Yes but considering he was 8-6 up and with good chances to win the final two frames and lose them then he will see it as a chance missed whilst the momentum is back with Dotty.

Great performance to get back to 8-8 but he was playing some pretty dodgy shots beforehand pushing the boat out rather than playing a nice safety, waiting for a better chance.

Sorry that I haven't chatted much. But the Dott vs Carter match =
Two less then charismatic performers, putting on a braver performance each. Proving that charisma means little, and talent goes a long way.
Ali Carter.
Graeme Dott.
