I bet that costs fat dollars. I got talking to a guy in the bar once, after the games. And he told me that he knew somebody that, after factoring in hotel bills, travel and feeding himself for the two weeks spent about £4000 being there. And I think that was without the Witz style getting drunk and going to the casino the whole time. He just went, and he watched snooker for 17 days.

I'd love to do that one year, but I doubt I will.


They should bring back the season tickets in my opinion. It is not fair that some people can get tickets for the full 17 days at around £600-£700 whereas I would have to pay around £1500. I will definitely be writing to Barry Hearn about that.
