I hope it will be good, I lied to my grandmother to watch.
Perfect final for me, since I don't really like any of them.

Sonny wrote:How about that for attacking? Higgins first shot of the final and goes all out for a long red leaving Maguire in perfect position after missing.
if you dont attack in the first frame of a best of 17 when will you ?
thats why hes successful he strikes the right balance.

I've seen Maguire look focussed like this on a lot of occasions and he always looks sharp and total quality when he's in this mood. Trouble is his temperament has let him down a lot in the past, he gets frustrated with himself very easily and therefore his performances aren't consistent.
He is a joy to watch when he's on song though.

Early days yet GJ. We still havent seen much of John at the table. A couple of quick frames by him may dent Mag's confidence.

Possible 2nd round and quarter-final matches at the Crucible - mouth watering or what?
Robbo v Fu
Dott v Carter (winners play)
Ding v Selby
Allen v Maguire (winner probably faces Williams)
Murphy v O'Sullivan (winner probably faces Higgins)
