that red from Murphy (although it went in) not played with great confidence cos he left the white welded to the top cushion meaning a tricky cut-back pink................... he missed

a real stinky pink after a nice plant is missed by Ding....... so a bit of a scrappy start

Ding hasn't settled at all yet- but Murphy isn't his usual consistent self. He is missing a few as well. Hendry is about to level at 1-1 with Selby. The Scot is going well on a break of 72 having just potted a blue. That match could go all the way. Edit Hendry broke down on 96 with a missed red. Murphy gifted chance to Ding with easy miss on red to corner. Ding though looks like he needs a satnav to get into the match
