well he played 2 experienced players the last 2 years in round 1 davis and bond and had no problems with either

The poor chapm cant see that Mark King has deserved his place in the top 16 which is a bit sad really. I am a firm believer that if you are good enough then you will reach higher standards. The cream always rises to the top so to speak. So if there were players of better ability than Mark King then he would be in the top 16.
Ding looks like he is in a bit of a hurry

Probably not the best match Ding could have had to prepare for Murphy though. I would have preferred him to have had a comfortable battle at 10-4/10-5 than a 10-0/10-1.
