Hendry Sets New Record

Stephen Hendry set a new record at the Crucible Theatre in his first round last night

The record is - most deciding frames played at the venue . Hendry has played eleven deciding frames in matches there over taking John Parrot's record of ten

Parrot however won seven of the deciders while Hendry only won six . Still an interesting stat though

Funny you mention that because come to think of it I can remember a lot of Parrott deciders at the crucible!

Hendry has won more matches than Parrott has played there though lol

Alex Higgins got more drunk then anybody at The Crucible too.

Wow, 11 is massive. Although Selby should reach that at the masters with nowhere near the same amount of frames
