I am playing to win. If Cope wins great, if not I have some more points. Win-win.
Tricky match to call.

Tubber, just to confirm is the deadline always 5 mins before the match starts? Just wondering as you know the way the 2nd round starts before the first round finishes.

Sorry to tread on tubbers toes in answering but the format is exactly the same as last year so round 2 and the quarter-final templates will come in two lots. Tubber and Paddy will elaborate

That was only 1 of my many cracking predictions last year. It was just a shame I didn't put my money were my mouth is, different story this year.

Well that's true, consistency wins these events at the end of the day ! Take into account there's 31 matches, you really need to be scoring at least 22 correct results to be a serious contender to win unless it's a really weak era which I don't think it is !

Yep defiantly. I think there won't be a whole lot in it after the first round, but the 2nd round will really separate the field and by then we will know who is in with a chance of winning and who isn't

anyway i have picked higgins to beat hawkins but seeing as everyone seems to have picked him it will benefit robbo and will do my chances no harm if barry beats him
Only just realised but on paper, Higgins has the toughest draw ... top seeded qualifier
