I too don't like the headphones they give you. If you're going live to snooker, you don't want commentary. Why go live to something if you want it to be exactly the same as it is on telly? Besides, I tried using one once and the cheap bit of rubbish broke every too minutes. The only downside to not having one is when the whole crowd laughs collectively at something you haven't heard. It's like shut up, I'm trying to watch snooker.
And don't worry about not going out guys. I've been out on the razzle twice recently, and I should be staying in saving. The hotel bill itself is going to cost me £300.

I've informed parents not to expect visits, accepting for any emergencies, next thing is to make sure stock levels on snacks and beverages is @ the desired level for the 17 days - minus my 3 days in Sheff......
Time to get organised is NOW ...!!!

Assuming that Ding hasn't already beaten Hendry 18-5.

Didn't they change it so that they would come off when a player reached the 17 frame mark if it looked like the final would be won with a session to spare?

I'm going to be really hardcore at The Crucible this year. (No, wild that isn't a sex joke. And yes wild, I did see the story in the paper about the dominatrixes in Telford.
) I am going for the 10am, 2:30pm and 7pm sessions on Saturday and Sunday, but I am going to the morning and afternoon on Monday too. 8 sessions over two days. Last time I did a six session, two day-er, it knackered me so goodness knows what I'll be like by the end of Monday.
Anybody else planning on spending whole days in the snooker, or are other people breaking it up a bit. Anybody else planning on finding other things to do in Sheffield? And if so, what? Just curious really.
