Sonny - the tickets I am getting (when I pay matey-boy) are from his season ticket. You will get what you get via the application system. Hope you get the Monday ones as that looks cracking. Hope MJW gets drawn someone like Cope or Wenny.......

I've requested front row at the side. To be honest, I'd be happy if both are 7-2 up overnight so then I can see the end and have the best spot when the curtain is raised.
It is undescribably awesome when you're sat at the front with the curtain raised, sat in the dark and watching play on the other table with no crowd in front of you. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

I've never sat in the sideways on view - so looking forward to it. Like matey-boy said yesterday you get to appreciate the break building from this angle. I am quite excited myself. Yeah when that curtain goes up it is quite magical......

Dunno how the liver will surive the 9 days of abuse though, and the poor old bank balance will take a hit. But i wouldnt miss it for the world.
I always go down in the first week, prefer it as you get to see all the players, and i always think theres more of a buzz and sense of anticipation in the early stages, before it gets down to the nitty gritty in the later stages.

Yep, I know a couple with season tickets who go for the first week for that reason (to see as many players as possible). I also think that R1 provides some of the best matches for tension and drama and you tend to get a few 10-9 matches and always a few shocks too.
Might see ya there and have a few bevvies.

Smart, did you get your tickets yet? I might try and sneak a match in the Monday morning, depending on flights and that

Casey - I'm waiting for them to arrive now, seeing as my mate has cashed the cheque. I would think in the next couple of weeks for definite. I dont want to pester him as he is letting me have them for cost price and it is from what I gather a fantastic seat.
Would be good to meet you for sure.

Has anybody else not had their tickets arrive yet? I sent my application form, and have received nothing back. They are usually here by now.

Cheers Lucky
I have great seats for the Allen match but I am the second last row back for the Hendo game, raging. I might try and get them changed somehow

What I always do is wait for a few frames and spot if there are any spare seats with a better view then subtly move over to them. There are always a few and sometimes a whole row is empty in a prime location.
