Something does not add up.
If we have to take this UK game abroad lets see it done proper....... proper formats, proper money.

Man, have you ever been to OZ? Its a great country and they are sports mad. If Robbo won the WC then the game would explode there and would be more than worth while having a tournement there.

Lets gets some perspective.....
Google "Australia" and google "China" - compare and contrast population ......... there is no growth there, simple maths will tell you that.
China has been tried and largely (IMHO) failed...... time to try mainland Europe, if that fails - just stick to UK where snookers heart is and buck the rest.

no matter how you or anyone looks at it concentrating or putting all the eggs in the same basket is no good...
if this sport going to spread more countries the better.
by all accounts China isn't all that interested in Long Matches Themselves. im not sure about that myself but i want snooker spread far and wide and not only UK and China.

To my eyes China has been a snooker failure - despite the number of people there, the number of clubs there and the general love of the game.......
If there was a proper Asian leg of the snooker season perhaps it would not be seen as a necessary evil for the players....... it seems to be pretty low down on the agenda, and you can see why, poor money, poor scheduling, poor format.
Not much going for it to be honest.
If I was BH I would lay the law down with China and say do it right or get screwed.

theres no love lost between them but can you imagine the hype the next time these two meet....
i honestly think the Ronnie v Selby rivalry is exactly what snooker needs and it would be even more so if selby playing ronnie and selby being introduced as World Champion.

Never mind Selby beating ROS, if Selby wins the WC Ronnie will be eating his words about him not having the game to win a WC.

Yes but you miss the one important factor and that is, Australians are crazy for sport, any sport and especially where they have a world champion. When Eddie Charlton was famous, Snooker was huge in Australia. It can be again if Robbo wins.
