Well let's hope he's not booked a flight to Moscow

Ronnie is still John Virgo's favourite, I'd bet.
Okay, bet is a bad term to use in a match between Higgins and Maguire, but you know what I mean.

well in my view and its the same in other sports
do the celebration when the big shot is done
then the handsake match is over why bother doing the celebration again
pointless

I think you are overlooking the fact that Allen could not win a match for toffee most of this season, so it was a big win last night. He celebrated twice at the conclusion of the match. I would also say that Allen is a non-cougher.
How's Robbo's cough coming along...........

It was a massive win for Allen, beating the defending champion in a final frame.

Now I can see the point you are trying to make (badly) if Allen had potted match ball celebrated at the time and then gone up to Ding and went "na na na na - you lost after a great comeback, na na na na - stick that up yer jacksie". BUT he did not, it was a nice little fisty pump from Allen.

Once this Tournament over on Sunday there will need to be a quick turn around with seedings and the German Masters Draw because Qualifying for the German Masters is next Tuesday.

i think Maguire has already missed the boat in this match.
Higgins not played very well at 3-3 then he went ahead with his best frame.
