After all the build up, Jimmy White gets a walkover. rofl

If Hendry had any sense, he'd been in Telford by now. He knew months in advance he had to get there, so surely he'd try and make it a few days earlier then his first match, just in case.

Actually the one which annoyed me the most was when Mark Williams tip kept coming off. He was about to tonk Hendry into the middle of next week but instead lost his head because he couldn't trust his cue. Zhanger nearly did it and wild was eating humble pie even though Hendry did the business because he predicted an annihilation and in the end Hendry only just pulled himself together in the nick of time.

Seriously though, if Ian Doyle is to be believed then Hendry will probably win. But this is the first time I've really looked forward to an encounter of theirs since 1994 I have to be honest. I knew Jimmy didn't have a hope in the 95 semi and in 1998 I thought Hendry would tonk Jimmy so I daren't watch and only turned on the tv when Jimmy was 7-0 up. I was doing cart wheels but I missed the best part. From that point on Hendry won 6-3. I don't remember their clash in the Masters.

Anyway, seriously looking forward to this match. It will bring back memories and my once unbreakable passion for all things Jimmy could well reignite.

Also the Williams v Hendry encounter was the day I got points for speeding after trying to get home from the Crucible in time to see the last session :redneck:

haha the infamous night my mate got ejected from the Crucible for shouting MISS at Williams and incurring the wrath of Alan Chamberlain rofl

Ended up out with Rory McLeod and his entourage for a bit after his game v King finally ended  then ended up in the dodgiest club ever almost getting stabbed for trying it on with birds who were already taken, then blowing the best bit of a grand in a casino with Thorne. <doh> A night ill never forget rofl

Then waking up in the morning feeling terrible after about 3 hours sleep and having flashbacks to all the madness, then hitting the off licence at 9am with this mad Oirish Allen fan and sitting outside the Crucible with a bottle of cider for breakfast :D

19th April 09 - just looked at my driving licence. Around 7pm in perfect driving conditions and an empty motorway. Think it was a Sunday. 92mph average speed clocked over 2 miles. Good job they didn't catch me a few miles earlier :)
