Re: UK Championship draw

Postby Roland

What a surprise, Selby is in the same section as Higgins and O'Sullivan. Fix.

Re: UK Championship draw

:redneck:

Quite pleased with Ding's draw, Allen bang out of form and I guess it's easier to play O'Sullivan before the latter stages ...

Re: UK Championship draw

Hendry has a Fantastic Draw :redneck:

seriously Draws dont really matter in these Events its who plays best on the day. Dont Expect John Higgins to Pick up where he Left Off and Ronnie is Very Vulnerable at the Moment.

Re: UK Championship draw

Postby Roland

Yeah I'm thinking Ricky Walden and Maguire are Selby's first hurdles and they won't be a doddle so get past them before worrying about others. And I expect Higgins to be a threat.

Robbo could have Liang Wenbo in round 1. Come on Liang!

Re: UK Championship draw

Postby Bourne

I also have Higgins as a big threat, he's a backs-against-the-wall player and will love the challenge of getting back into the competitive arena again. The first match will probably be the hardest one, nerves etc, but if he gets through that ...

i dont not in the UK.

he has family issues plus his first tournament back....it will be very very tough for him.

Dream draw for Ronnie and Robbo to get to the SF's in each half.

We will see. I think he'll romp his opener against Stephen Lee. He'll crush him to a pulp.

Mags made semis last year when a family tragedy struck ... it's possible to do well, it spurs you on if anything if you're mentally tough.

Stephen is playing aswell as he has for 5 or 6 years though he could have got a easier Draw.

That Brings me to Hendry....JOE PERRY :excited: :excited:

Re: UK Championship draw

I personally don't think Higgins will return to form...although I really hope I am proved wrong.

I think Ronnie and Robbo fans should be happy with the draw Fu, then Ding (who has a mental block with Ronnie)

The SF line up will be -

Ronnie v Selby/Dott
Williams v Robbo

Booked the week off for this one, so I can go to any matches I want.

I just hope upon bastard hope I've managed to get into my own place by then. For the World Open I spet more time doing paper work towards getting a mortgage, and having my parents take crisps off me because they thought I was eating too much. <laugh>

Hold on.
Are you sure they're selling tickets for this one?
