Tian Pengfei is in the balls with a great chance to take a 2-1 lead and Higginson is 2-0 up.

Burnett 1-2 Tian Pengfei
Tian played some terrible safeties but was lucky and got away with it. Burnett wasn't very good at safety neither but he didn't get away with it ...
I'm not sure I understood it correctly but it seems that Jan Verhaas' luggage hasn't arrived and therefore he can't ref because he hasn't got his suit with him and, guess what? Finding a replacement suit for him ther in China seems to be a problem

I thought Jan's surname is not that hard to spell, but this is a quite good effort

Burnett is playing really well, he is capable of this but just doesn't do it often enough.

I see live scoring on World Snooker promised for the Shanghai hasn't materialised.
I tuned in at 2-1 to Tian and Burnett hasn't missed a ball since with some great snooker. 4-2 now.

I have counted 5 people in the crowd! Chinese..huge snooker fans? it doesnt matter what round it is, there should still be more than five in the crowd, with all the hype about how big it is over there and the effort that goes into the opening ceremony, you would just expect a bit more.

A lot of them can't afford it and a lot of them work 7 day weeks. There'll be more there in the evening session which starts later this morning UK time.
