right i must head off out for another snooker league match so will miss most of this tonight. Cant say im too fussed about missing the action tonight, theres something boring about the PL nights that Ronnie isnt playing, his interviews make it for me, and the mysetery of whether he will turn up in the mood for trying or not haha

David Singh won I see, fair play to him. From Nottingham isn't he? If its the same fella, Jimmy practices with him to this day. Can play him.
Steve Judd got beat. He was a previous English Amateur champ, which was only second to the World Amateur champ as pedigree in my day. I think I played John Whitty too, tho not sure?
I love looking through results at the best of times. Being able to look through a bit of history while doing so is good fun too. Mike Hallet, Bless him, is a bad loser. There's another couple of names there that I'm trying to get my head around but can't.

Ok so he has withdrawn
Its a shame really because I thought the Grand finals had a chance of becoming the 4th major in time. its not going to make any strides this year - No Higgins, Ronnie and Ding. Also Carter and Robbo look likely to miss out meaning 5 out of the top 6 won't be there.
Isn't the prize money for the finals 100k? for 4 days snooker

Its our loss too though, it doesn't help boost the profile of a new event. Still plenty of quality players in it mind.
Its very dissapointing Ronnie and Ding didn't put in a bit more effort.

Brilliant for the 'lesser' players though, the likes of Pinches and Trump and Cope don't really get the chances of the big boys to win mega bucks because they're simply not as good and won't be regularly at the latter ends of tournaments. Now they get their chance to shine in a pressure environment

dont think Higgins would Play them All but he would have definitly Put himself in with a chance of being in the Finals.
as Barry Hearns best Mate WTF is Steve Davis doing ??? 2 out of 6
he could do with ranking points as well being Provisionally 34th
