Quarter Final Matches will be Starting soon

Couch vs Walden will be first up because they not stil playing last 16 lol

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

i don't see the point putting plate matches on live scoring they better concentrate on getting the essentials right

im not that interested in the plate contest and it confuses whats going on.

anyway 1st Q/F is out Couch vs Walden.

Mark Williams is Proving too tough for Gould but its been a good weekend for martin lifting him to 24th in the Rankings

How close is Martin to the 16 after this, what does he realistically need to do before the next cut-off ?

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Postby Wildey

After the Last 16 Mark Williams was the only player left that was in the PTC Top 24

give or take a few points he will be about 2000 points off the Top 16 for the next cut off after the UK

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Getting very close then he's gota have a good shot at making it before the Worlds that would be huge.

no matter how much smart Turns up his nose at the Rankings its massive.

Ding was held back massively in his career by getting drawn Ronnie on his Debut at the Crucible So getting in the top 16 and avoiding that prospect first off is massive.

Another player that can Do with Winning this week is Wenbo but he is down 2-1 against Fergal O'Brien.

Bjorn Hanever Giving the home suport something to cheer as he leads Murphy the Jimmy Slayer 3-1

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Postby Wildey

Fergal O'Brien has beaten Liang Wenbo 4-1 to set up a semi final on the Couch or playing Walden.

Couch 3-2 Walden

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Murphy Beats Haneveer 4-3 to set up a Semi Final against Mark Williams

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Postby Wildey

Ricky Walden has Beaten Selby therefore things should have got easier for him to reach the final but no Mathew Couch could be on the final visit to put out Walden.

Couch 31 up with 51 on the table and Walden has his chance

Re: The Brugge Open (EPTC2)

Postby Wildey

semi final 1 has started Williams v Murphy

Mathew Couch has put Walden to Sleep 4-2

Fergal O'Brien vs Mathew Couch to follow shortly
