90 minutes per match, was clearly over-optimistic.

yes theres a case for starting 9.30 like pink ribbon and go totally roll on roll off so if a match finishes by 10.30 get another match on in 10 minutes.

Maflin’s Max
Kurt Maflin became the latest member of snooker's 147 club with a maximum break at the Star Xing Pai Players Tour Championship event one.
The Norway-based cueman, originally from London, compiled his superb break in the fourth frame of a 4-0 victory over Polish champion Michal Zielinski.
Maflin, who recently won the European Play-Offs to earn a place on the pro Tour for 2010/11, goes down in the records as making the 71st maximum in snooker history and the first of this season.
"It's my first 147 and it feels great, one of the highlights of my career," said the 26-year-old, who has a six-inch metal plate in his shoulder following a car accident earlier this year.
"I was a little bit nervous but the colours were on their spots. I got a bit lucky earlier in the break, I went into the reds when there were five or six left and got a good split, although I still had to pot a difficult red to the middle."
Congrats Kurt!

yes lets not forget centuries done in the PTC Count towards the official list so this could have a whole new angle on who will be the next player to reach a certain amount of centuries.
i had ding down to be the next to reach 300 but now its all change.
same with hendry his record could be under threat quicker now unless he puts in the time and effort to turn up.

How many more matches in the 64? It's not too bad if that's the last batch. I'd hate for it to be downgraded to best of 5 for logistical reasons.

Oh right, just read up. Well that's not going to happen now is it.
edit - I've just studied the drawsheet. The round of 32 isn't down to finish until tomorrow anyway so there's plenty of time.

we just started the 5th session out of 7 sessions to be played today.
by the end of tonight the last 16 of the bottom half would be known.

i think a earlier start might be better or extend it to 4 days for example yesterday they didnt start the Qualifying until 3pm why not start them earlier and get some last 128 matches played

There isn't enough tables to do this in such a short space of time. I think it should be done over 4 days rather than 3.

its 9.45pm and there are 17 uncompleted matches to be played today.
i really think they should have played 16 matches of the last 128 yesterday so that there was 6 sessions today and 6 sessions tomorrow instead of 7 sessions.
they could have started the qualifying at 10am them play thoes 3 sessions and 2 sessions of the last 128.
